The course runs from 19th to 22nd August 2013 - with a free extra optional day on the 23rd. Please contact Anna for further details.
Classes and Workshops Held at Anna's London Studio and in Cornwall
Anna has the flexibility and experience to offer courses that are tailor made to your requirements, ranging from children’s art classes to MA level. With Anna’s additional training and experience in performance, film, dance and complementary therapy, innovative and exciting approaches to learning are possible. Anna is able to design learning programs and workshops for schools and colleges with a sound underpinning in fine art practice and art history, as well as private courses and individual tuition.
Workshops
Anna runs experiential drawing, painting and art-based workshops from her London studio. These workshops take the form of one and two-day intensives and can include charcoal, life drawing, watercolour, stained glass, mosaic, colour theory, colour mixing, mark-making and visual language.
Fees differ for each workshop, but usually start from £120 per person for a two-day course and £60.00 for a one-day course.
Life Drawing Classes
Open to all levels of qualification and experience, these are life drawing classes with a difference... challenging, intense, fun and productive.
These courses include the use of short poses, movement, performance and sound as tools for the development of visual language. Students receive personal tuition within the small group format, together with studio critiques and discussion.
Landscape Courses In Cornwall
These five-day courses run from ten o'clock sharp to four thirty daily, with the last half hour being a clear up and regrouping opportunity. The week will start off with an exercise and contain at least one thorough studio review. We venture out into the landscape daily where students may find themselves in environments that suggest the exploration of significant artistic concerns. These discoveries are facilitated as sensitively as possible. The emphasis is on participants taking the space to chart their own path through the experience at whatever level, in whatever way and using whatever medium they choose; however, ample support, ideas and technical experience in fine art is on hand and offered as required. These courses are demanding and sometimes intense but usually highly productive experiences contained in the stunning and dramatic landscape of the far West Penwith Peninsula.
